ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Accountant will support the Chief Financial Officer across all accounting functions, including purchasing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with company policies, and optimizing financial processes. They will collaboratively work with all Boston 26 functional areas.

Salary Range: | $100,000 - $120,000, depending on experience |
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
General Accounting:
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
Support external and internal audits by preparing the necessary documentation.
Purchasing:
Oversee the purchasing process to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with company policies.
Review and approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders and vendor contracts.
Work with procurement teams to manage vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
Assist staff in the utilization of purchasing/procurement workflow tool.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice verification, approval, and payment processing.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of payments and outstanding invoices.
Ensure timely payments to vendors while optimizing cash flow.
Implement and improve internal controls over AP processes.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Oversee accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
Maintain customer accounts, process payments, and apply cash receipts accurately.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Able to maintain a strategic focus while also performing tactically.
Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Flexibility, resourcefulness, and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Please Note: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa or sponsorship, and must be within reasonable commuting distance of Foxborough, MA.
WORK EXPECTATIONS:
Full-time, onsite, 40hr per week role that may require occasional evening and weekend work. Work hours will fluctuate and include activity outside normal business hours during tournament time (June-July 2026).
Hybrid work flexibility.
This role is estimated to conclude in early Fall of 2026.
